Sutherland Bay is a trio from Kelowna, BC that performs original high energy instrumental music as well as covers done in an uplifting surf style. Their upbeat sound is a mix of funk, rock, Latin and surf. The 3-piece instrumental band currently includes Jim Caldwell (lead/rhythm guitar), Yvonne Caldwell (bass), and Ethan McKibben (drums). Their originals, written by Jim and Yvonne, draw on a wide variety of influences from Bootsy Collins to the Grateful Dead.
